A two-day camp where producers, songwriters, and artists will collaborate in creative sessions to create custom music based on briefs from invited professionals. The experience also includes in-depth listening and feedback sessions for growth and learning.

Sync About It Conference, an idea Co-Funded by the European Council through the LiveMX programme is looking for songwriters, producers and composers to take part in the Sync About It songwriting camp which will take place in Bucharest, Romania from 20 to 21st of February 2025.
During the camp, around 15 songwriters from all European regions will have the opportunity to work in 3-4 person teams composing music for real client briefs on various moving picture projects (film, games, ads, etc.)
As part of the event, the organisers will provide:
5 Studios equipped with listening monitors, microphones, midi keyboards, headphones, instruments (other needs to be discussed);
Briefs from music supervisors or brand managers who will offer feedback on the songs resulted in the sessions, along with listening session on 21st February, during which participants will have the opportunity to listen to all works created during the camp;
2 writing sessions / team (each participant gets to work on two different briefs in the two days);
A camp supervisor to offer guidance throughout the two days, as well as an introductory & Q&A session which will take place online, before beginning of the camp;
Free pass for the conference;
The opportunity to get to know all the participants of the camp thanks to feedback sessions at the end of the days;
Travel expenses will not be covered.
One meal on writing days;
Accommodation covered (max 3 nights, no more than 150E).
Some requirements & details if you want to apply:

Availability on both of the event days from morning to evening

English language skills and experience in collaborative songwriting are required

Producers should have their own laptops & preffered softwares on working sessions

There is no requirement to have had music placed in video content before

Selection of participants
Decisions will be made by the Sync About It music consultant Steve Farris with the support of other music professionals who will be communicated at a future date.
Participants will be contacted directly by the team (hello@syncaboutit.eu) if they are invited or if further questions regarding their application are necessary.
The selection will ensure teams have a similar experience and cover all aspects of songwriting required to create the final materials.

Information on personal data for those participating in the Sync About It camp:

1. The personal data of persons participating in the recruitment process for the Sync About It Songwriting Camp shall be administered byThe Talking Cat Records Agency LLC, Trade register number: J03/3112/2022 , Address: 17th Banat Street, B13 Building, Entrance D, 2nd floor, Ap.9, Pitesti, Arges County.
2. Personal data shall be processed in connection with the conduct of the recruitment process and is processed due to its voluntary submission by the candidate. The processing of personal data is necessary for the conduct of the recruitment process.
3. Name and image of the participants (like photos from the sessions) will be used in further communications of the organiser, like social media channels, website or other communications helping the funding organisations.
4. The Talking Cat Records Agency informs about the right of access to personal data, their correction, deletion, restriction of processing and the right to object, as well as the right to data portability, if there are legal and factual grounds for this.
5. Personal data can be disclosed to entities, including accounting and law firms, which provide services to the company in this regard.
6. Personal data will be processed by the company for the period of limitation of possible claims or expiration of legal obligations.
